With a little more than a month to go before the 89th Annual Academy Awards, you could officially say awards season is underway. That means that it’s time for us to start paying attention to the hair and makeup looks leading up to Oscars — because the trends usually carry a lot of weight for the remainder of the year. And we have a good feeling that last night’s People’s Choice Awards gave us a fair amount of insight on what’s to come.

So what exactly is on our radar, you ask? For starters, we saw plenty of smoked-out eyes in colors other than black; bold, unapologetic lip color; and skin that shines like the top of the Chrysler Building. In other words: Everything you want. A bounty of undone hairstyles also came into play, and have us forgetting that stiff Hollywood updos ever existed.

But that’s just our take, so we’ll have to wait and to see if our predictions come true. For now, we’re happy to to keep obsessing over the best looks we saw at the PCAs. Ahead, the beauty pros share exactly what products we need to recreate 'em — so you can get in on the fun, too.

Ruby Rose

All eyes were on the xXx actress last night, partly thanks to her bold decision to pair a bright orange jumpsuit (no, not the kind she wore in Orange Is the New Black) with an equally eye-catching dark lip color.

Rose is the face of Urban Decay, so it makes sense that the brand let her debut the brand's brand-spanking-new Vice Liquid Lipstick last night. The shade, according to makeup artist Jo Baker, is called Blackmail, a deep wine that just launched today.

Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick in Blackmail, $18, available at Urban Decay.

Blake Lively

The Favorite Dramatic Actress award for her role in The Shallows wasn’t Lively's only win of the night: Her glowing skin, unfussy hair, and bronze shadow made her one of the most glamorous stars of the evening.

Proof her show-stopping statement eye was a little more complex: Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle used not one, not two, but every single shade in L’Oréal Paris’s shadow quad.

L’Oréal Paris Colour Pocket Palette Eye Shadow in Boudoir Charm, $9.99, available at L’Oréal Paris.

Jennifer Lopez

The actress, who snagged an award for Favorite Crime Drama TV Actress, stole the show with her neutral take on head-to-toe glam — in true J. Lo fashion.

Lopez's makeup artist Mary Phillips shared on Instagram that she actually used a radiance-enhancing moisturizer (with quite the price tag!) from Armani to create the actress's bangin’ highlight.

Giorgio Armani Prima Glow-On Moisturizing Balm, $110, available at Giorgio Armani.

Priyanka Chopra

Chopra walked away from the red carpet with an award for Favorite Dramatic TV Actress, but we were equally impressed by the Quantico star’s uncanny ability to rock springtime-fresh makeup in January.

Celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff opted for a warm, coral-pink lip color to complement Chopra’s dress and give her that bright, rosy glow.

Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Colour in Fantasy, $28, available at Laura Mercier.

Ashley Greene

From smoked-out eyes to an impeccably sculpted contour, Greene’s makeup was completely on-point – but it was her mussed-up ponytail we couldn’t look away from.

To create that undone, sexy texture that still looked lustrous, Greene’s hairstylist Richard Collins scrunched the pony with a versatile styling paste.

Bhave Flex Styling Paste, $19.50, available at Bhave.

Gwen Stefani

Stefani, the patron saint of the red lip, kept her makeup shockingly minimal with a neutral lip, groomed brows, and major lashes.

Skip the falsies, and reach for Physician’s Formula’s new mascara, which checks all the boxes for volumizing, lengthening, and lasting — for a Stefani-level stare.

Physician’s Formula Eye Booster Lash Contortionist Mascara, $10.99, available at Ulta.

Jamie Chung

Chung's subtle balayage is already the stuff hair-color dreams are made of, but loose, beachy waves made it look better than ever.

If you have fine, straight hair like Jamie, you can bring out your own natural wave with a kickass volumizing product, like the sea salt-based spray from Davines.

Davines This Is A Sea Salt Spray, $28, available at Davines.
