The People v. O.J. Simpson actress Noree Victoria and her family were forcibly removed from a Southwest Airlines flight in an incident that she appears to attribute at least partially to racial discrimination. Victoria detailed the incident in a series of tweets.
Victoria was traveling with her family through Orlando International Airport on their way to Jamaica when Southwest personnel entered the flight and asked them to leave. Here is her description of the incident, which she says occurred some time last week.
What isn't clear is why she and her family were removed. Apparently they were traveling with an attorney who is involved in civil rights activism. So presumably someone will get to the bottom of the situation shortly.
We've reached out to both Victoria and Southwest for comment, but so far none has been forthcoming. We'll update this story as soon as we know more.
