In our minds, there are few (if any) makeup looks as classic and sexy as the cat eye. We'd wear it every day if we could, but unfortunately, wielding liquid liner is pretty much the last thing that we want to do at the crack of dawn every morning. We know some girls master those mythical skills effortlessly, but our eyes are barely open before we've had a good two cups of coffee — which means we're lucky if we manage to get mascara on properly before sprinting to the subway.
As if she read our mind, NYC makeup artist Tiffany Patton showed us a great trick for creating a quick cat eye with her favorite go-to pencil liner. With nothing extra but a Q-tip and some eye cream, she creates a perfect swoop so fast and simple that we're confident that we could actually re-create it at home without making a huge mess. Check out the video above to see exactly how Tiffany does it (you will actually not believe how easy this is).
MAC Fast Response Eye Cream, $30, available at MAC Cosmetics.
